Many people tuck their wine collection away some dark hole but Jakob Wagner thinks that you should take pride in your wine and instead hiding it away you should exhibit it with refined elegance. To that end, Wagner created the Wine Vine, a unique wall mounted wine rack that allows you to store your wines on your wall. Wagner’s work has been featured in New York’s Museum of Modern Art and each piece of his work looks as though it came right out of a modern art exhibit. Wagner is no stranger to designing extravagant pieces for home decoration either having created an extensive collection of work for the design team Menu. Menu, which was founded in 1979, has won awards for their creative designs including the Red Dot Design Award and the iF Product Design Award thanks in not small part to Wagner’s refreshing work.

For his wine rack, Jakob Wagner claims that he looked towards nature for inspiration, namely the grape vine, the initial origin of all wines. Jakob Wagner’s wine rack is available for purchase for $59.99 and would be a welcome addition to any dining room. You can purchase items from the Menu’s Jakob Wagner collection from csn stores.

Besides water, coffee is probably one of the oldest and most drank beverages in the world. Starting in Ethiopia almost one thousand years ago, it has quickly spread throughout the globe.

Each morning when you wake up and brew your favorite blend in your coffee machines somwhere out there coffee trees are being hand-picked for their seeds to make your next cup.

Growing coffee can be a challenging endeavor. Coffee trees only grown in tropical regions where the temperatures stay around 70 degrees Fahrenheit. They also tend to be highly susceptible to disease, frost, and drought.

One of the biggest contributors to the flavor is where and how it was grown. South American coffee isn’t going to taste the same as African coffee.

There are three regions in and around North America that grow coffee; Hawaii, Mexico, and Puerto Rico. Kona coffee, grown in Hawaii in rich volcanic soil, is always in high demand as are the strong dark beans of Mexico. Puerto Rico on the other hand is known for its balanced blend and fragrant aroma.

Central and South America are well known for their coffee. Brazil, the largest coffee producer in the word, makes a fantastic cup of medium body, low acid coffee; although Colombia and Costa Rica are not far behind when it comes to producing fine coffee.

For a rich, full-bodied cup of coffee Africa and the Middle East have all that you need. From Kenya to the Ivory Coast to Yemen, you will never taste anything else like strong blends that come from these countries.

Last, but certainly not least, Asia holds the crown for producing exotic coffee that to this day are unmatched. Indonesia in particular has mastered the art of producing superb aged coffee.

Friday in Seattle: we went shopping and had a nice lunch. Later in the afternoon, we found an Internet cafe’ and found a place to stay, this site seemed to have the best deals and the best hotels. We were here for a wedding, so after we found and checked into our hotel, we had to head over to the wedding rehearsal that was at the Clise Mansion. That’s were we met the rest of the wedding party and was briefed on our roles and responsibilities by the pastor.

Then it was time to head off to the rehearsal dinner at the Red Hook Brewery! Yes! We knew there was a reason we were here! What a great place, and that’s where we finally got to really get to know the wedding party members better. There’s nothing like alcohol to make everyone relax from the stress of the wedding plans and let loose!

Saturday morning, we tagged along while the groom got a haircut and a manicure, we then had lunch with him and his parents, his grandparents and all his siblings. Then we made our way to the wedding. It was amazing that the sun was shining, which was superb, because the wedding ceremony was outdoors at a garden. The ceremony was perfect and I cried. Dang! I don’t know what it is about weddings that make me cry.

Afterward, at the reception, we drank, ate and danced for hours. Then the entire wedding party headed back to our hotel, because we weren’t ready to stop partying, and all met up at the lounge. We finally made it up to our room somewhere around 4am, but only after saying goodbye to the newlyweds who were heading off to their honeymoon suite at a hotel not far from us. For us, instead of sleeping, we went out on the balcony of our hotel and watched the sunrise.
