Carnegie and Core Principles
Business management philosophies change through the years, and they serve to both allow for new structures to develop, and to reflect the culture and the times that they serve. There are always new developments that come to light, and the philosophies work to reflect these developments. At the end of the day, however, there are usually some core principles that still serve to reflect certain principles that really don’t change over time. These principles are based on age-old ideas about how people behave, respond, and take action. They also reflect ideas about wealth and commerce, and seem to be fairly consistent across culture and time.
The techniques developed by dale carnegie may have been born in a time very different than our own. However, they still remain as very useful maps and keys to success. Based upon the power of positive thinking , and utilizing that with the simple but elusive notion of cause and effect, they still serve as better models than nearly anything else available today. The principles have gone through modifications over time, in order to speak to the changes in corporate structures and a constantly evolving market, but the ideas are still the same as they ever were.
The training seminars available are excellent ways of putting an organization’s ideas and goals into a context that is very workable, and produces some rather fantastic results. For some, going through the seminars can illuminate new ideas and philosophies that can be put to use for the very first time. For many others, they can serve as a kind of back-to-basics approach that work to turn complicated problems into simple and solvable challenges. In the business world, as in any other world, perception can mean an awful lot. Working toward positive perceptions is a means of changing the core of the system and make it work better than it ever did before. They are also very elemental ideas that seem to be very well-suited for nearly any structure, and are effective to meet every challenge that may come.
