Music and Seafood Festivals in Miami

This past weekend was an amazing time to be in Miami, Florida. Well, you can thing of a time that isn’t amazing to be there? However, the events and cultural activities of this past weekend represent the vibrancy of the city and the fact that the great things to do and see in Mimi are not limited to the permanent establishments. There are plenty of festivals, seasonal events and other engagements to keep residents inspired and interested all year and tourists in the city coming back for more. This is actually one of the great aspects of the city. No matter what time tourists make reservations in one of the hotels, there will be something fabulous going on in the city while they are there.

The Deering Seafood Festival on Bay took place yesterday on Sunday, March 28th. Great music and amazing Caribbean seafood were on the stage and on the menu during this great annual event. Local caterers and restaurants supplied the food for this event and guests were able to enjoy some of the best seafood in Miami all in one place. In addition, they were able to eat and relax in the beautiful yard and then tour the historic homes and enjoy a cruise through Biscayne Bay aboard the Pelican Island Skipper. There was plenty to do for the children and a special kids zone was established for their fun and entertainment.

From March 23rd through the 27th the Winter Music Conference celebrated its twenty fifth anniversary during the five days of music and activity. This great event is one of the must publicized musical happenings in the world and it is also one of the most popularly attended. It is an international event and representatives from over 62 countries attend. Audience members typically reach over 70,000, which makes this festival one of the largest in the country. It is the largest musical gathering of this kind in the world, and people from all over the world come to it to perform and be in the audience. The event features a diverse selection of music genres and presents cultures, styles and tastes from around the world.
