From Virginia To the Stars

One of the the break out stars in the world of R&B in 2009 was singer Trey Songz. Trey Songz has been performing since 2004 and constantly putting out new material and tours waiting for his chance to blow up. For years he was creating a buzz for himself by going to various colleges and performing at Homecomings and different clubs and smaller venues. However, in 2010 he is currently on tour with Jay-Z and Young Jeezy, two of the biggest names in hip hop today and he is more than holding his own. Trey Songz also has his own website that gets thousands of hits daily and requests of fans looking to book him for an event or appearance.
Trey dropped his breakthrough album in 2009 entitled Ready and judging from the response of his fans he definitely was ready. His songs are being requested on the all the music video channels on television and also on the radio stations across the country. As a child growing up in Virginia Trey never knew he would reach the status he has reached but he always new that he loved to sing and that he did have talent. Years of hard work, dedication, risks, and hours of practice have paid off.
I remember reading an interview of his and he spoke of how he would go to different places to record songs and collaborate with different producers and how he would sleep on couches and even in his car at one point. Now Trey Songz doesn’t have to worry about finding a place to sleep, if he is not at his mansion he can surely choose any suite at virginia beach cheap hotel and have no problem at all getting a room.
