Green Portland
Portland is a beautiful city of hills and water and lots and lots of greenery. The natural beauty of the near by Mount Rainer the river and a short distance from the world famous Oregon cost green is all around! Birds, sea mammals and many other creatures can be seen here. A favorite place for summer whale watching! The water is cool here even in the summer and rain is a daily occurrence all year around. There may be a lot of rain and cloudy days in Portland, but the beauty of the city doesn’t suffer. The water is essential to Oregon’s natural beauty. Portland is a great place to visit all year. Winters can be cold so be prepared but the winters are not usually very snowy like other parts of the country.
