Be Cool: how to be successful in business
Being positive can have many side effects. It can help you recover quicker from surgeries, from emotional wounds, from just about any hardship that life throws your way. For that reason, it is also a large part of entrepreneurs do so well. Rather than allowing problems and breakdowns to overcome them, entrepreneurs overcome those things through thinking ways through their problems, never allowing themselves to simply wallow. Because they are positive, it helps them to construct unique solutions to problems, and problems that more difficult often get more inventive solutions applied to them. That and most people just like being around a person who has a positive outlook in general.
Business training not always give you the tools to be a good entrepreneur. For those educational facilities that do, people do not always to take advantage of the opportunities being afforded to them. You can teach someone to “know” that person is a thriving industrialist, but unless they actually believe that little mantra, it will have no effect whatsoever. No matter how crazy an idea seems, the most successful business people always believed in themselves when others did not. Pet rocks was probably a pretty kooky idea—and still is—but the person who thought this up, Gary Dahl, did not let that stand in his way. Determination and self confidence are majors factors in becoming a successful business person. Another “businessman” of the movie variety, Chili Palmer was when he said to another character to just “be cool.”
Possessing an imagination is also not good enough to be a great entrepreneur. You must also let your imagination go with the wildest ideas and solutions. In just looking for ways to solve a problem, a person also works through the things that won’t work. Though it is negative information gathering, it is still valuable experience. People with sales training often make for some of the best entrepreneurs simple because they often undergo a lot of flak in their work from people not wanting to buy their product, whatever it might be. But their determinism and tenaciousness and belief in themselves usually makes for the best preparation of an entrepreneur.
